Xiaomi has officially announced the termination of software support for several models of smartphones and tablets released under the Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco brands, adding to the sad list of EoL Product List devices (End of Life, end of life cycle).
To be more precise, the list of more unsupported Xiaomi brand devices has been supplemented with Xiaomi Mix 4 (cn), Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro 5G (cn), Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro (cn), as well as the mysterious XM-ELISH-DEMO (cn) and XM-ENUMA-DEMO (cn) models.
Of the Redmi brand models, support for the Redmi K40 (cn) has been discontinued, which for some reason was added to the list of unsupported Poco devices.
Of the Poco smartphones, Xiaomi has stopped programmatically supporting the very popular Poco F3 GT (in) and Poco F3 smartphones.
All of these devices will not receive any MIUI or HyperOS updates or fresh Android security patches in the future.:
We no longer support any software or firmware updates (including security updates) for products included in the EoL product list, and we no longer respond to reports of security vulnerabilities for them.
