Xiaomi developers are finishing the basic HyperOS 2 for the global Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco models, switching to HyperOS 2.1 for Xiaomi and Poco, for some reason leaving out Redmi (why?), but at the same time they are preparing major updates to HyperOS 2.2.
So far, Xiaomi HyperOS 2.2 firmware is being tested only for Chinese Xiaomi devices, although the “globals” for Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Ultra are also being tested.
Moreover, today insiders shared an updated list of Xiaomi global devices that will be the first to try out the new HyperOS 2.2, among which there are no Redmi devices again.
