A fairly well-known blogger Ben Geskin published a curious post on the Internet in which he said that playing on one of the smartphones with the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite processor on board, he got burned.
As proof, he cited photos of both the burn itself and screenshots of the MadOut 2 game running at maximum graphics settings, which, in fact, led to such a strong heating of the device.
As the author clarified, he managed to play for about 10 minutes – initially, the smartphone gave out 45 fps, but then lowered the frequency to 33 fps and began to heat up noticeably.
At the seventh minute of the gameplay, the blogger felt discomfort in his hand, but did not attach importance to it, but at the tenth minute he could not stand it. Moreover, after the game session, the smartphone began to noticeably emit the smell of melted plastic.
However, Ben Geskin did not specify the model of the smartphone, but it seems that we are talking about the Realme GT 7 Pro, which has been repeatedly complained about overheating online, to the point that it is impossible to pass all the tests of popular benchmarks on it, as the device overheats greatly.
