SD 7+ Gen 3 vs SD 7 Gen 3: AnTuTu 10

AnTuTu is a popular test package that allows you to measure various device performance parameters, such as the power of computing cores, graphics controller, and memory. The final result of AnTuTu reflects the overall performance of the device.

Here’s how the tested devices based on Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 and Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 performed in AnTuTu 10:

As you can see on the graph, in AnTuTu v10, the Realme GT 6T smartphone based on Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 scored more than 1.4 million points, while the OnePlus Nord CE 4 on Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 was able to overcome the mark of only 800,000 “parrots”.

SD 7+ Gen 3 vs SD 7 Gen 3: Geekbench 6

Geekbench is an equally well—known benchmark that allows you to evaluate the computing power of devices. The tests here are performed in single-core and multi-core modes.

As expected, in Geekbench, the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 smartphone noticeably outperforms its Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 rival thanks to its powerful and efficient processor cores.

To be more precise, in Geekbench, the Realme GT 6T model powered by a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 processor scored 1,834 points in the single-core and 4,498 points in the multi-core test. In turn, the OnePlus Nord CE 4 based on the 7 Gen 3 scored 1,154 points and 3,018 points in single-threaded and multi-threaded tests.

Conclusion

The Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 single—chip system is a big step forward compared to the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 platform in terms of CPU performance, graphics, and camera.

Thanks to the more powerful Arm Cortex-X4 super-core and other high-performance cores, the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 is 15% more powerful than its rival, and the gap in terms of graphics processing reaches 45%.

In terms of performance, the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 competes with the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset (their comparison can be viewed here).

If you’re looking for a chipset that delivers flagship-level performance without hitting your pocket, then the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 is undoubtedly the best choice over the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3.
