Sooner or later, Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco devices will cease to be officially supported by the manufacturer and fall into the sad EoL list, which you can read about here, and support for seven more Xiaomi devices will be discontinued in the very near future.
We are talking about the following models:
- Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge
- Xiaomi 11i
- Redmi K50 Gaming
- Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G
- Redmi Note 11S
- Redmi 10A
- Poco F4 GT
After the transition of these Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco models to EoL status, they will completely cease to receive any software updates – both HyperOS firmware and Android security patches.
This is very explicitly stated on the official Xiaomi Internet resource.:
We no longer support any software or firmware updates (including security updates) for products included in the EoL product list, and we no longer respond to reports of issues and security vulnerabilities for them.
P.S. For up-to-date news on the Xiaomi HyperOS proprietary system, as well as detailed instructions and recommendations for configuring it, see this section.
