In April, Xiaomi will completely discontinue support for 7 smartphone models released under the Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco brands – they will be upgraded to EoL status, which you can read more about here.
Similar news began to appear more and more often, but as soon as Xiaomi releases new smartphones, older ones are gradually coming to the end of their service life.
We are talking about the following devices:
- Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge
- Xiaomi 11i
- Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G
- Redmi Note 11S
- Redmi 10A
- Redmi K50 Gaming Edition
- Poco F4 GT
It is worth noting that the Redmi Note 11S and Poco F4 GT are very popular models that have sold out in large numbers around the world, and the termination of their support looks very sad.
After Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco devices move to the sad EoL list, they completely stop receiving software updates — both HyperOS firmware and new Android versions, as well as security patches.

This is stated directly and in no uncertain terms on the official EoL List page, which can be viewed at this link.
We no longer support any software or firmware updates (including security updates) for products included in the EoL product list, and we no longer respond to reports of issues and security vulnerabilities for them.
