Xiaomi continues to gradually expand its sad EoL (End of Life, end of life cycle) list – a list of smartphones and tablets released under the Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco brands, software support for which has been completely discontinued.
Today, this sad list has been expanded quite well – it has been supplemented by representatives of all three brands sponsored by the Chinese manufacturer – Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco.
In particular, unsupported Xiaomi devices have been supplemented with Redmi Note 11 Pro (CN), Redmi Note 11 Pro+ (CN), Xiaomi Pad 5 (TW), Xiaomi Pad 5 (TR), Xiaomi Pad 5 (RU), Xiaomi Pad 5 (EU), Xiaomi Pad 5 (MI). Moreover, it is unclear why the Redmi models were included in the list of Xiaomi devices. Well, okay, that doesn’t change the meaning anyway.
In turn, Redmi devices that lost software support were joined by Redmi 10 2022 (MX), Redmi Note 10 JE (JP), Redmi 10 2022 (MX) and Redmi 10 2022 (TW).
Well, the Xiaomi developers could not leave aside the Poco brand – support for the Indonesian Poco X3 GT (ID) device was discontinued.
All of these smartphones and tablets will no longer receive any MIUI or HyperOS updates, nor new Android security patches, as directly reported on the company’s official website.:
We no longer support any software or firmware updates (including security updates) for products included in the EoL product list, and we no longer respond to reports of security vulnerabilities for them.
P.S. Next Tuesday, October 29, the new version of the HyperOS 2 proprietary system will be officially presented. We collect everything that is known about HyperOS 2 today in this material, and you can read the most interesting news about the second version of HyperOS in this section.
