During the presentation of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra camera phone (announcement), Xiaomi officially introduced a new camera application as part of the HyperOS 2 system.
At the same time, a little later, the manufacturer talked about all its new features, as well as which Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco mobile devices the new camera will officially appear on.
The HyperOS 2 camera app has been updated after several years and has the same design as in the latest versions of MIUI. Now it has become much more intuitive and minimalistic, having received new settings for the foreground.

As we can see in the following image, Xiaomi has reorganized the camera app settings. Some settings disappear from the main interface, making room for other, more frequently used settings, which provides a more practical and smooth interface.

The night mode is no longer independent and is now integrated into the photo and video shooting modes. In addition, new settings have been added to the professional mode, specifically focused on video recording.
We can also now adjust the shutter sound by selecting one of the 8 different sounds. Many of them mimic the sound of an old camera, while others give it a more modern and futuristic sound.
Otherwise, the interface of the Camera application has become more minimalistic: some icons and the order of settings have been updated to make the application more intuitive and easy to use.
