This fall, Xiaomi will delight owners of Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco devices with a new version of its proprietary HyperOS 3 shell, which promises many improvements and innovations, and more or less truthful lists of the manufacturer’s models that will be updated to HyperOS 3 are already appearing online.
One of them, which is most similar to the real one, can be found here. As you can see, not all Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco devices will receive HyperOS 3 based on the latest Android 16 operating system – some of them will be content with the current Android 15.
Among them is the Redmi 13C smartphone, which will be the company’s most affordable device, upgraded to HyperOS 3, albeit on Android 15. Moreover, it is unlikely that he will receive the corresponding update among the first – most likely it will happen already in the first quarter of 2026.
Although Xiaomi has not confirmed a specific release date for HyperOS 3 for the Redmi 13C, industry insiders predict that it should be released in the last quarter of 2025. The update will be rolled out in stages, with some regions receiving it earlier than others.
