Taiwanese chipmaker MediaTek continues the tradition of releasing slightly overclocked versions of existing budget processors.
For example, the Dimensity 6300 turned out to be the Dimensity 6400, the Dimensity 7400 was created from the Dimensity 7300, and now the Dimensity 7060 chipset is on the way, which will be a minimally improved version of the Dimensity 7025 chip introduced about a year ago.
According to insiders, the frequency of the “large” cores in the MediaTek Dimensity 7060 will increase from 2.5 GHz to 2.6 GHz, while the “small” cores will remain at 2.0 GHz. They also decided not to change the process technology – the 6nm TSMC N6.

Moreover, the graphics controller of the BXM-8-256 model from Imagination Technologies, which is known to many for its very low performance, complemented by reduced support for Vulkan technology, has not changed.
