For reference, an eSIM (embedded SIM) is an analog of a traditional SIM card, which is soldered onto the system board of a smartphone at the production stage. At the same time, there have been numerous rumors for years that eSIM will be integrated into Qualcomm and MediaTek processors, but so far there has been silence about this.
