Earlier this year, Xiaomi introduced a rather interesting smartphone, the Poco X7 Pro (announcement), which quickly gained great popularity, but a little later, complaints from owners of this Poco model began to appear on the Web that it was difficult for them to get through.
To be more precise, there are already hundreds of complaints from Poco X7 Pro users on the popular 4PDA forum, as well as in marketplace reviews, that the smartphone is strangely rejecting incoming calls, but outwardly it is unnoticeable.
Apparently, this problem is not large-scale, but also not too rare. In addition, it does not manifest itself constantly, but periodically, with “failures” during the day.
The saddest thing is that after almost three months of searching for a solution, there was no solution. Replacing and rearranging SIM cards does not help, as well as switching all possible modes of operation of the modem between 2G, 3G and 4G.
In some cases, you can receive a call, but after a couple of seconds it is reset, and callers receive a notification about a “subscriber outside the network coverage area.” Temporarily, the problem goes away after restarting or turning on and off airplane mode.

However, the most questionable issue here is Xiaomi’s reaction, or rather the lack of it. If the problem can really be solved with a software update, the company had plenty of time to acknowledge the situation and issue a patch: almost 5 months have passed since the smartphone was released.
And if there is a hardware problem, then Xiaomi should launch a recall campaign or, at a minimum, provide all affected users with free repairs at service centers.
