Just yesterday, insiders named the image sensors on which the cameras of the Xiaomi 14T Pro smartphone will be built (details), and now similar information has been disclosed regarding the basic Xiaomi 14T model.
According to the source, the Xiaomi 14T main camera will include three image sensors – the main Sony IMX906 with a resolution of 50 megapixels, a wide-angle based on a 13-megapixel Omnivision OV13B sensor, as well as a Samsung S5KJN1 telephoto lens with 50 megapixels. The front panel will be based on the Samsung S5KKD1 sensor.
That is, the Xiaomi 14T and Xiaomi 14T Pro rear cameras will differ only in the main module – Sony IMX906 for the first and Omnivision OV50H for the second. As a result, there won’t be much difference between these models in terms of photo and video quality.

However, in terms of performance, the Xiaomi 14T Pro, built on the top-end MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ processor, will be more powerful than the Xiaomi 14T, which is promised the proven Dimensity 8300 chipset or the latest Dimensity 8400 from the same MediaTek.
The release date of Xiaomi 14T and Xiaomi 14T Pro has not yet been disclosed, but we can definitely say that the premiere of these new Xiaomi products will take place this fall.
