As we know, at the beginning of next year, the Poco brand, which is a subsidiary trademark of Xiaomi, will present its new smartphones Poco X7 and Poco X7 Pro, which belong to the middle segment and about which more and more information is emerging.
Characteristics of Poco X7
Apparently, the Poco X7 model will be based on the Chinese Redmi Note 14 Pro device, from which, apparently, it will differ in design and, possibly, some details in the main camera modules.
That is, the Poco X7 should receive a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1.5K and a frame rate of up to 120 Hz, a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chip in the Ultra version, a 50-megapixel main camera with 2x zoom and OIS, a 20 MP front-facing camera, IP68 certification, and a 5110 mAh battery with support for 45-watt charging.
Characteristics of Poco X7 Pro
In turn, the Poco X7 Pro promises to be more powerful – it will be based on the yet-to-be-officially unveiled Chinese model Redmi Turbo 4, which is expected to premiere in early 2025.
It turns out that the Poco X7 Pro should be expected to have the same 6.67-inch AMOLED display as the base model, but brighter, the latest MediaTek Dimensity 8400 chipset (also Ultra), a 50-megapixel rear camera based on the Sony IMX882 sensor with OIS and EIS, the same protection from dust and moisture. IP68, as well as a 6000 mAh battery with 90W fast charging.
Out of the box, the Poco X7 and Poco X7 Pro will run the proprietary Xiaomi HyperOS 2 firmware built on the Android 15 operating system.
