Table of contents
Proprietary chip drives innovation
As we know, the Xiaomi 15S Pro uses the proprietary Xring O1 processor, which was introduced in mid-May.
This step shows Xiaomi’s commitment to developing its own chips and reducing dependence on external suppliers. Along with the Xring O1, the company also introduced the Xring XP2210C power management chip and the Surge P3 wired charging component.
Leading Memory Manufacturing Partners
For Xiaomi 15S Pro, SK Hynix supplies the latest LPDDR5T RAM using advanced PoP (Package-on-Package) technology, and Micron provides UFS 4.1 NAND Flash drives, providing high speed and multitasking.
Advanced connectivity and audio solutions
For connections, Xiaomi’s key partner is MediaTek, which ships MediaTek T800 modems (MT6980W), MT6639BEW Wi-Fi/Bluetooth wireless module, and MT6195W RF transceiver for Xiaomi 15S Pro.
In turn, NXP Semiconductors supplies an NFC controller and a UWB (Ultra-Wideband) module, expanding the device’s connectivity options. The audio is controlled by Si Rui Logic, which is responsible for both codecs and the power amplifier, which provides excellent sound quality.
A comprehensive ecosystem of components
Xiaomi’s supplier network also includes manufacturers such as Shanghai Nanxin Semiconductor Technology for secondary charging, Volta Semiconductor for wireless charging, Weijie Chuangxin for RF front-end modules, and STMicroelectronics for sensor integration.
This diverse, highly specialized ecosystem is central to Xiaomi’s strategy of providing premium features and reliability to its devices.
