In mid-November last year, Xiaomi published an official roadmap for the release of global updates to HyperOS 2 for compatible Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco models (more details), according to which HyperOS 2 Global builds will begin to be released for a considerable number of devices from November.

At the same time, the manufacturer kept his word and the first stable global HyperOS 2 builds began to appear on time. Further, the manufacturer gradually released firmware for other devices, although so far not all owners of Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco can boast of the new HyperOS 2.

Taking advantage of the lull due to the fact that Xiaomi developers have suspended the release of the next HyperOS 1 and HyperOS 2 updates (details), we decided to find out which Xiaomi smartphones and tablets have not yet received HyperOS 2 Global. Note that we are talking about MI, EU and RU firmware, since we do not keep records of ID, IN, TR, TW and other regional assemblies.

If we compare the roadmap for the release of global updates of HyperOS 2 with the real situation for today, which can be viewed here, then HyperOS 2 Global has not yet been seen by the owners of the following devices:

  • Xiaomi 13 Lite
  • Xiaomi 12T / 12T Pro
  • Xiaomi 12 / 12 Pro
  • Xiaomi Mi 11 / Mi 11 Ultra
  • Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE
  • Xiaomi Pad 6
  • Redmi Note 12 Pro / Pro+ 5G
  • Redmi Note 12 5G
  • Redmi Note 12S
  • Redmi 13C 5G
  • Poco F5 / F5 Pro
  • Poco F4 GT
  • Poco X5 Pro 5G
  • Poco X4 GT
  • Poco C75

It is worth noting here that many of the devices that have already received global HyperOS 2 have firmware with MI or EU indexes on board, while Rostest devices, that is, with the official RU firmware, are still pending.

In addition, some released HyperOS 2 updates may still be in beta testing as part of the Mi Pilot program and only users who have an approved application for participation in this test have received them.

In general, we are waiting for the Chinese to finish celebrating their New Year and start rolling out the next HyperOS 2 updates on February 16. By the way, at the same time, intermediate global builds of HyperOS 2.1 will start to be released.

P.S. We collect all the most interesting information about the new version of the HyperOS 2 software platform here, and you can find the latest news about the HyperOS system in this section.
