Xiaomi recently launched the global deployment of the new HyperOS 2 software platform (details), but insiders, as usual, are one step ahead and announced a list of Xiaomi devices that will receive HyperOS 3 based on Android 16 in the future.
It is worth noting here that the latest Android 16 operating system, apparently, will be released earlier than usual, as we recently discussed in this article, so HyperOS 3 may see the light of day much earlier.
According to sources, the following Xiaomi models should be updated to the proprietary HyperOS 3 firmware built on Android 16 in the long term:

- Xiaomi Mix Flip (ruyi)

Of course, this list is preliminary and it does not include Xiaomi 15 devices, models that have not yet been released, as well as devices from the Redmi and Poco brands, but still.
