As we know, Xiaomi developers are actively working on the release of global HyperOS 2 builds and have already released relevant updates (all released firmware) for many Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco devices.
However, with the global updates of HyperOS 2, Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco owners often complain about various errors and problems in the firmware.
For example, users of some models that have upgraded to HyperOS 2 say that notifications on the locked screen have stopped being displayed.
That is, when notifications arrive on Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco with the new global HyperOS 2 firmware, the screen does not unlock and these notifications are not shown.
In fact, everything is simple here – for some reason, Xiaomi developers have made it so that by default the display of notifications on the locked screen is disabled. It’s not clear why, probably by mistake.
How can I enable notifications in HyperOS 2?
In order to enable notifications on the locked screen on your Xiaomi, Redmi or Poco running the proprietary HyperOS 2 firmware, you need to go to Settings – Wallpaper and Personalization – Notification Effect, where you can select the option to Turn on the screen.
P.S. Other instructions on configuring the HyperOS software platform and using its features on Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco devices are available on our website in this section.
