Owners of Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco smartphones continue to contact us with questions about why the battery icon on their Xiaomi has turned blue. Moreover, they all claim that “they didn’t do anything, it happened by itself.”
In fact, everything is simple – the blue battery icon on your Xiaomi, Redmi or Poco indicates that the maximum performance mode is activated. You can enable or disable it by going to Settings – Battery, where you can select the desired option under Current Mode.
By the way, when you select any of the two available energy saving modes on Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco smartphones with HyperOS firmware on board, the battery icon will turn orange, whereas in Balanced mode the battery icon will not be colored.
P.S. Other instructions on configuring the HyperOS software platform and using its features on Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco devices are available on our website in this section.
