Xiaomi developers are already completing the deployment of proprietary HyperOS 2 firmware outside of China and have already started releasing global HyperOS 2.1 updates, the assemblies of which are numbered OS2.0.1xx.
However, they decided not to stop there and are already preparing HyperOS 2.2 updates, which also bring a lot of interesting innovations and receive OS2.0.2xx type numbers.
Today we have already written about HyperOS 2.2 (in more detail) and expressed the opinion that we will not see global builds of HyperOS 2.2 in the near future, and, apparently, we were mistaken.
To be more precise, the stable European HyperOS 2.2 update for Xiaomi 15 was released today, although it was intended for internal testing. However, the firmware does not linger at this stage.
