Xiaomi today published the first official teasers and renders dedicated to the upcoming flagship smartphones Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro, which are less than a week away from the full premiere.
It is already safe to say that the basic Xiaomi 15 will traditionally be more compact than the Pro version, and both models will retain the rectangular block of the main camera without any edging.
Also, Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro have retained the metal frame, but its texture is now not glossy, but matte. Moreover, the Pro version looks more coarse-grained.
In addition, earlier rumors were confirmed that the screen shape of the older Xiaomi 15 Pro will have a slightly rounded 2.5D shape, whereas the compact Xiaomi 15 has a completely flat screen.
Predictably, the latest flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, which Qualcomm introduced a couple of days ago, is used as the hardware basis for Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro, and advanced cameras created in collaboration with Leica specialists will be responsible for photos and videos of the Xiaomi 15 family flagships.
Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro, along with the new HyperOS 2 system, will be unveiled on October 29.
