The other day, Xiaomi founder Lei Jun announced the proprietary Xring O1 processor (details), which, according to rumors, will be the first to receive a Xiaomi 15S Pro smartphone, and today this device with model number 25042PN24C has been highlighted in the database of the popular Geekbench test package.
As you can see in the screenshot, the Xiaomi 15S Pro smartphone with the Xring O1 processor on board scores 2709 and 8125 points in the Geekbench benchmark in single-core and multi-core tests, respectively.
This suggests that the performance of the Xring O1 chip is at the level of last year’s flagship solutions.MediaTek Dimensity 9300 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and even slightly surpasses them.
The only thing that is confusing is that Geekbench shows that the chipset has four clusters with 10 cores, which is at odds with earlier information. This is either a mistake on the part of Geekbench, or the screenshot is fake, or Xiaomi has really endowed the Xring O1 with as many as 10 cores.
