For a long time, rumors have been circulating online that Xiaomi is preparing to release major interim updates to HyperOS 2.1, including outside China, and recently insiders named those global Xiaomi and Poco models that will receive HyperOS 2.1 Global among the first.
Devices in the first wave of global HyperOS 2.1 deployment will gain a whole new dimension to the user experience with this update, opening the floodgates for advanced optimizations and features in Xiaomi smartphones and tablets.

HyperOS 2.1 Global is expected to launch worldwide at the end of February 2025 and in the first weeks of March.
