As we know, Xiaomi does not provide long-term support for its devices, gradually transferring them to the EoL list (what is it?), after which the devices completely stop receiving any updates.
This is stated simply and clearly on the manufacturer’s official website.:
We no longer support any software or firmware updates (including security updates) for products included in the EoL product list, and we no longer respond to reports of issues and security vulnerabilities for them.
This time, it’s the turn of 9 more smartphone models released under the Redmi and Poco brands. We are talking about the following devices:
- Redmi Note 11 SE
- Redmi Note 11S 5G
- Redmi Note 11S
- Redmi Note 11 5G
- Redmi Note 11
- Redmi 10C
- Redmi 10 2022
- Poco X4 Pro 5G
- Poco M4 Pro
In theory, these smartphones have stopped receiving MIUI updates and fresh Android security patches since the end of January, but due to the Chinese New Year, they have not yet been added to the EoL regulatory list, which can be found here.
