Xiaomi, looking at Samsung, decided to keep up with its competitors and made a strong-willed decision to extend the terms of software support for smartphones and tablets released under the Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco brands.
In particular, four major HyperOS and Android updates have been announced for the latest flagship devices, as well as six years of release of relevant security patches.
These models can be used as an example.:
- Xiaomi 15 Ultra — until March 1, 2031
- Xiaomi 15 — until March 1, 2031
- Poco F7 Ultra — until March 27, 2031
- Poco F7 Pro — until March 27, 2031
As for Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco devices belonging to the middle segment, the manufacturer undertakes to release 2-3 major HyperOS and Android updates for them and maintain their security for four years from the release date.
- Redmi Note 14 5G — until January 10, 2029
- Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G — until January 30, 2029
- Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G — until January 1, 2029
- Redmi Note 14 Pro — until January 15, 2029
- Poco X7 Pro — until January 7, 2029
