Back in early January, there was information that Xiaomi developers were preparing to release major interim updates to HyperOS 2.1. Moreover, they will be released not only in China, but also for global versions of Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco devices, the full list of which can be found here.
As you know, the company’s specialists will begin rolling out the first HyperOS 2.1 builds in the second half of February, after the Chinese New Year, the large-scale celebration of which will end on the 16th.
Moreover, those Xiaomi smartphones that will be the first to receive global HyperOS 2.1 firmware have already been revealed – we are talking about the flagship Xiaomi 14 Ultra, Xiaomi 13 Pro and Xiaomi 13 devices. At the same time, the MI firmware for HyperOS 2.1 for Xiaomi 14 Ultra is almost ready and is numbered OS2.0.100.0.VNAMIXM.

By the way, this numbering is somewhat unusual for Xiaomi’s HyperOS firmware, but it was previously stated that relatively large updates with new features will carry HyperOS 2.0.101, 2.0.202, 2.0.303 numbers, and so on, while smaller “updates” will receive HyperOS 2.0.1, 2.0.2, HyperOS 2.0.3 numbers, etc.

HyperOS 2.1 will certainly bring the latest system improvements and enhancements to the global Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco devices, which are very pleasant for users of these devices. We talked about this in this article just yesterday.

P.S. We collect all the most interesting information about the new version of the HyperOS 2 software platform here, and you can find the latest news about the HyperOS system in this section.
