Xiaomi, Huawei, Oppo and Vivo have jointly launched the OneLink application service platform, which will allow developers to create “single link” applications for devices of different brands, which will offer users a more efficient app download experience.

OneLink refers to a unified link service that helps developers create direct links for apps listed in their branded app stores. Moreover, the service supports almost all mobile platforms.

Xiaomi, Huawei, Oppo and Vivo smartphones and Apple already support unified applications for calling download services from their app store and platforms of other brands.

Roughly speaking, when a user finds the right app, they are automatically redirected to the app store that is most suitable for their device – AppGallery, GetApps, App Store, etc. In other words, we are talking about cross-platform application promotion without using separate links.

In addition, in addition to direct links, developers can also create QR codes for applications that are already available in app stores.

As a result, on the user’s side, you will need to click either on a single application link from any manufacturer’s smartphone or simply scan the QR code. This will take them directly to the app store of the respective brand, where they can easily download, install, or update the software.
