Xiaomi’s latest HyperOS 3 software platform is about to begin its global rollout, and one of its key features is the dynamic HyperIsland, which is similar to iOS’s Dynamic Island solution, but more functional.
At the same time, Xiaomi HyperIsland, which is called Super Island in Chinese firmware, is not just a copy of Dynamic Island from iOS – this “feature” in HyperOS 3 offers an excellent and much more practical user interface than its competitor, developed by Apple specialists.
HyperIsland transforms the once static area around the front camera into a vibrant, interactive hub. A key advantage that makes it even better is the ability to easily switch from the HyperIsland notification view directly to a floating window, significantly improving multitasking on your Xiaomi, Redmi, or Poco.

A giant leap in mobile interaction
While iPhones primarily offer a stylish way to display background processes and notifications, HyperIsland takes this to the next level.
Imagine receiving a message on your Xiaomi or seeing background activity – with a simple tap, that tiny island of information instantly transforms into a fully functional floating window.
This eliminates the need to completely interrupt your current task, offering a streamlined and efficient multitasking experience that is truly the hallmark of the new HyperOS 3.
Designed for seamless multitasking
What’s particularly appealing about Xiaomi’s HyperIsland is its focus on ease of use. Multi-window support is a feature many of us use daily, whether it’s quickly replying to a chat while watching a video or checking notes while surfing the web.
By integrating this feature directly into the dynamic notification area, HyperOS 3 makes these transitions instant and intuitive.

Good and bad news
The global rollout of the new HyperOS 3 system begins this month, meaning the wait for this exciting feature isn’t long! However, as with all major software innovations, there’s one small detail our users should be aware of.
More specifically, HyperIsland will not be available on all devices. To ensure maximum performance and ease of use, this feature will only be available on top-end mid-range and flagship smartphones.
