Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 13T Pro smartphones, as well as the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro 12.4 tablet, can already participate in the Android 15 Developer Preview pre-testing program – Xiaomi has already posted the relevant global assemblies and instructions for their installation on the official website.
It is worth noting that to install the beta version of HyperOS based on Android 15 Beta 1 on Xiaomi 14, Xiaomi 13T Pro or Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro 12.4, you need to unlock the bootloader and do not forget to create a backup copy of the data.
According to Google’s official schedule, beta testing of the new Android 15 will last until June 2024, and then the platform’s stabilization phase will begin to fix bugs and make the latest changes. The final release of Android 15 is expected in September-October.
