The upcoming major HyperOS 2.2 update will bring a lot of improvements and a number of innovations to Xiaomi devices (details). However, it was still unclear when Xiaomi would start rolling out HyperOS 2.2 builds, but today the company indirectly revealed the deployment plan.
To be more precise, Xiaomi has published a release schedule for the updated Camera 6.0 application (details), which, as previously reported, will be distributed as part of the HyperOS 2.2 firmware. That is, now we know when Xiaomi and Redmi owners should expect HyperOS 2.2.
The new Camera 6.0 app in HyperOS 2.2, in addition to improving the interface and completely redesigned appearance, adds new ways to customize the photography process and even allows you to change the shutter sound.
