Last month, for its 15th anniversary, Xiaomi introduced a pair of single-chip systems of its own design, named Xring O1 and Xring T1.
The Xring O1 and Xring T1 chipsets are designed for use in smartphones and wearable electronics, respectively, but the manufacturer does not intend to stop there and is preparing a specialized chip for cars, as Xiaomi founder Lei Jun directly hinted at.

It is also clarified that the company’s engineers are actively working on creating their own processor for cars and its premiere may take place in the very near future.
However, it is not yet clear whether this processor will be used in active driver assistance systems, or whether it will simply be registered in the on-board infotainment system.
