Xiaomi is going to make a significant leap in innovative smartphone display technology with the latest 2K Real RGB OLED panels.
Their mass production is scheduled for September, and it is expected that the older models of the flagship Xiaomi 16 and Redmi K90 lines will be the first devices to benefit from this improvement.
The 2K Real RGB OLED Display technology will offer the following improvements in the field of OLED displays:
- Each subpixel works independently, eliminating the need for a traditional PenTile layout.
- Provides higher image clarity and clearer text, comparable to high-end LCD displays.
- Improved color accuracy and clarity across the entire display.
- Reduction of blurred edges, often seen in previous OLED models.
- Engineering improvements have increased the efficiency of the blue subpixel.
- Increased panel life and reduced risk of screen burnout.
It is also worth noting that TCL Huaxing, which is a long-time partner of Xiaomi and ensures high quality standards, will be responsible for the production of 2K Real RGB OLED Display panels.
