In July of this year, Xiaomi introduced its first smartphone in the “clamshell” form factor, which was named Xiaomi Mix Flip (details), and now the future Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 has been spotted in the IMEI database.
The alleged Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 carries the catalog numbers 2505APX7BC and 2505APX7BG for China and the global market, respectively, and the first numbers in them indicate that the premiere of the new generation of Xiaomi clamshell will take place around the end of May or early June 2025.
As expected, the future Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 will be built on the latest flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 single-chip system, which Qualcomm will officially unveil at the end of October this year, and will receive a major update in terms of a set of main camera modules.
