Today, Xiaomi has published another bug report in the global updates of HyperOS 2, which reveals a number of important issues on popular models across the Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco device line.
As HyperOS continues to become more important as Xiaomi’s flagship operating system, those who use certain models such as the Xiaomi 12 Pro, as well as the new Redmi Note series, may encounter functionality issues that may affect daily use.

Critical issues have been identified
The latest Xiaomi bug report lists two main issues that have been given the highest priority.:
- Bluetooth Watch connection error: Users of Xiaomi 12 Pro, as well as Xiaomi 12 on OS2.0.2.0.VLBEUXM, as well as OS2.0.2.0.VLCEUXM, face the problem of connecting to watches and wearable devices via Bluetooth. Xiaomi has assured that a fix is on the way, and the update will be released on April 10 via an OTA update.
- Charging speed degradation: Redmi Note 12S devices running OS2.0.2.0.VHZMIXM experience much slower charging speeds, and the fast charging feature doesn’t even turn on. This issue is currently under technical investigation, with no estimated time to fix it yet.
These issues highlight the continuous process of fine-tuning HyperOS, which is Xiaomi’s most ambitious recent software upgrade.
Future fixes
The development team also acknowledged the presence of a number of other bugs on various devices that will be fixed in future updates.:
- Problems with the functionality of the control center button on the Poco X7 Pro
- App Store Compatibility Issues preventing Taobao downloads on Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G
- Random system freezes on multiple devices, including Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G
- Sudden reboots on Redmi Note 12S, as well as on Redmi Pad SE 8.7
- Bluetooth Connection Stability Issues on the flagship Xiaomi 15 Ultra
- The Recorder app does not work on the Redmi Note 14
“We strive to solve all these problems as soon as possible in order to provide users with the usual comfort of working with Xiaomi products,” explained a representative of the HyperOS development team.
What needs to be done?
If you encounter any of these issues, Xiaomi advises:
- Upgrade your smartphone to the latest available version
- Reporting bugs through the feedback app so that fixes are given priority
- Using Xiaomi’s official channels to receive updates on upcoming releases
For users of the affected Xiaomi 12 Series models, adding April 10th to their calendar as the date of the promised update will be crucial to restoring the normal functionality of wearable Bluetooth devices.
