One of the most striking aspects of HyperOS 2.2 is the new photo and video editing tools, and thanks to the use of AI, this HyperOS 2 update contains a tool that can eliminate reflections or glare (details), which is suitable for pictures taken outside the window.
In addition, Xiaomi has added a new “beauty feature” in the video editing section, specifically designed for use in short portrait videos. This allows us to retouch videos the same way we already do with photos.
AI algorithms organize the schedule
Another notable new feature in Xiaomi HyperOS 2.2 is the intelligent schedule control function using artificial intelligence, which allows you to organize your agenda based on other applications, emails, messages, etc.
This new feature is available through Xiaomi HyperAI and allows us to specify from the Calendar application itself which data should be extracted from other applications.: from plane, train tickets, hotel and restaurant reservations to movie and show tickets.
Improved experience of using your car
Xiaomi’s CarWith technology, which acts as an alternative to Android Auto, is back in the spotlight. The interface has been improved, with a new, more modern and elegant design, redesigned dark mode, and intelligent zooming for clearer display of GPS instructions.
In addition, CarWith has been updated and can now record images from the car screen, has new full-screen notifications and improved support for music apps.
