Xiaomi specialists working on the system software have almost completed the deployment of global updates to HyperOS 2, gradually moving to HyperOS 2.1 Global firmware, but all kinds of problems are also evident in the latest HyperOS 2.0 builds.
So, today, with a slight delay, the manufacturer showed the public the traditional “HyperOS Optimization Report”, which is a list of errors in HyperOS 2, noticed by users and officially confirmed by Xiaomi itself.
It is worth noting that the new report has expanded significantly compared to the previous one, both in terms of the number of errors and various bugs noticed by users, and in terms of the number of affected devices and problematic HyperOS 2 firmware.
- On Poco F5 with OS2.0.1.0.VMRMIXM and OS2.0.1.0.VMRINXM firmware, the system user interface crashes and causes the desktop and lock screen to freeze, and after several such failures, the device switches to safe mode. The firmware has been recalled, and the problem has been fixed in the next updates.
- Xiaomi HyperAI Engine constantly stops at Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G, Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G with global firmware OS2.0.1.0.UMOMIXM. The firmware has been recalled, and the problem has been fixed in the next update.
- The system user interface freezes constantly after installing the SIM card on a Poco F7 Ultra running the European OS2.0.107.0.VOMEUXM build. The problem is being analyzed.
- The Bluetooth module is automatically disabled on Xiaomi 14T. Apparently, the problem was only observed with the Japanese build OS2.0.5.0.VNEJPKD. The problem is solved.
- Accidental reboot of Redmi Note 12S that received OS2.0.2.0.VHZMIXM and OS2.0.2.0.VHZEUXM updates. The issue will be fixed in the next update.
- It is not possible to update/download applications from GetApps on all Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco devices with HyperOS 2 updates with RU and ID indexes. The problem has been fixed – update GetApps to the latest version 4003747.
- Screen recording is not working on Redmi Note 13 5G with Indonesian OS2.0.1.0.VNQIDXM firmware on board. The problem is being analyzed.
- Spontaneous shutdown or restart of the Redmi Watch 5 Lite smartwatch with loss of all data. The affected firmware version is V5.2.147. The problem has been fixed.
