Xiaomi developers continue to update the basic version of the proprietary HyperOS 2 firmware, release fresh updates to HyperOS 2.1, and today the first global HyperOS 2.2 build (OS2.0.2xx) has been released.
We are talking about the European HyperOS 2.2 update for Xiaomi 13 Pro, which received the OS2.0.200.2.VMBEUXM number, is predictably built on the Android 15 operating system and is currently being distributed only to participants of the Mi Pilot beta test.
Despite the fact that Xiaomi promised a lot of “interesting things” in HyperOS 2.2, which we discussed in detail here, the OS2.0.200.2.VMBEUXM update brings only the April security patch (details) and “system security enhancement” to Xiaomi 13 Pro.
