Xiaomi has officially released the next HyperOS 2.2 Beta test update for the flagship Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro devices.
This is the third update in the HyperOS 2.2 beta testing program (firmware numbers are OS2.0.2xx), which includes various optimizations and bug fixes.
The new HyperOS 2.2 update based on Android 15 continues to demonstrate Xiaomi’s commitment to polishing its proprietary software platform with an additional focus on system optimizations.
To be more precise, we are talking about test builds of OS2.0.200.12.VOCCNXM and OS2.0.200.12.VOBCNXM for the Chinese Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro models, respectively.
What’s new in the third HyperOS 2.2 Beta?
The latest beta version of HyperOS 2.2 brings various improvements for both flagships. Below are the main changes that users will notice.:
- Improved support for large fonts — system-wide optimization for more efficient display of large fonts, which significantly improves performance when using them.
- Improved gesture support — Smoother interaction with long-press gestures to minimize unintended triggers.
- Overall Accessibility Improvement – Various improvements and fixes to TalkBack to improve accessibility.
- Improved system applications – minor bug fixes in the Settings, Messages, Contacts, Weather, Notes, and Browser applications.
Although Xiaomi has not yet announced an official release date for the stable version of HyperOS 2.2, we expect it to enter the global market in the coming months – after extensive testing in China.
