Xiaomi developers working on the HyperOS system software have announced new issues that have been identified in the global HyperOS 2.2 updates and indicated their statuses.
These errors were noticed by owners of Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco devices and sent via feedback to the manufacturer, and after their analysis, Xiaomi officially confirmed the presence of these bugs.

New issues in HyperOS 2.2 Global
- The charging process is “intermittent” on Poco F5 smartphones running HyperOS 2.2 global firmware with numbers OS2.0.204.0.VMRIDXM, OS2.0.204.0.VMRMIXM, OS2.0.204.0.VMRINXM and OS2.0.205.0.VMREUXM. The issue has been identified and will be fixed with subsequent updates.
- Automatic activation (“clicks”) of the Smart Pen stylus on Redmi Pad 2 and Redmi Pad 2 4G tablets with OS2.0.203.0.VOVIDXM and OS2.0.202.0.VOWINXM firmware on board. The problem is being analyzed.
- Xiaomi 12 smartphones that received OS2.0.205.0.VLCEUXM, OS2.0.202.0.VLCMIXM and OS2.0.202.0.VLCRUXM updates cannot be charged to 100%. The problem is being analyzed.
Fixed issues in HyperOS 2.2 Global
Also named were issues in HyperOS 2 that had been previously confirmed and fixed in upcoming updates – this time there’s just one item:
- The media volume on the Xiaomi 12T Pro increases and decreases by itself.
