Xiaomi specialists involved in the development of system software shared another “HyperOS Optimization Report”, where they talked about the problems with the global HyperOS and HyperOS 2 firmware, which were identified by users and officially confirmed by the manufacturer.
It is worth noting that this report has increased significantly compared to the previous one. Both in terms of the number of problems and the number of “affected” devices.
New bugs in HyperOS and HyperOS 2
- Problems with Game Turbo on Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G and Poco X6 5G running OS2.0.3.0.VNRIDXM, OS2.0.4.0.VNRRUXM and OS2.0.3.0.VNRTWXM firmware. The problem has been fixed.
- Black screen (the device screen does not wake up even when the power button is pressed) on Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11, Mi 11i, Mi 11X Pro, Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE and Poco X5 Pro 5G with OS1.0.14.0.UKKMIXM, OS1.0.11.0.UKKINXM firmware, OS1.0.14.0.UKKEUXM, OS1.0.6.0.UKKEUV, OS1.0.7.0.UKOMXAT and OS1.0.9.0.UKAIDXM on board. The issue has been resolved with the next update.
- WhatsApp cannot send an attachment (image, music, etc.) to Redmi Note 11S 5G with OS1.0.8.0.TGLEUOR and OS1.0.8.0.TGLEUVF firmware. The problem has been fixed.
- Auto brightness does not work correctly on Redmi Note 11S 5G running OS1.0.8.0.TGLEUOR and OS1.0.8.0.TGLEUVF builds. The problem has been fixed.
- System delay/freeze during gaming and daily use on Redmi 12 with OS2.0.2.0.VMXIDXM update. The problem is being analyzed.
- Skipping frames when shooting videos on Xiaomi 14T with OS2.0.3.0.VNEIDXM firmware. The problem has been fixed.
- The touchscreen does not work correctly on the Redmi Pad SE 8.7 4G and Redmi Pad SE 8.7 with OS2.0.1.0.VHYMIXM and OS2.0.1.0.VHXMIXM builds on board. The problem is being analyzed.
- Third-party apps access/download album photos. The Gallery app crashes. Affected devices: All devices. The problem is being analyzed.
- The touchscreen does not work properly when playing games on Redmi 13C and Poco C65 with OS2.0.1.0.VGPIDXM and OS2.0.2.0.VGPINXM firmware. The problem is being analyzed.
