After two months of promises, Xiaomi developers have begun rolling out a major HyperOS 2.2 update outside of China. In particular, yesterday the HyperOS 2.2 Global firmware was released for 10 Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco models, however, for the EU index.
We are talking about the following global builds of HyperOS 2.2:
- Xiaomi 15 Ultra (OS2.0.202.0.VOAEUXM)
- Xiaomi 15 (OS2.0.201.0.VOCEUXM)
- Xiaomi 14T Pro (OS2.0.203.0.VNNEUXM)
- Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G (OS2.0.202.0.VOOEUXM)
- Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G (OS2.0.201.0.VNOEUXM)
- Redmi Note 13 (OS2.0.201.0.VNHEUXM)
- Redmi 13 (OS2.0.201.0.VNTEUXM)
- Redmi Pad Pro 5G (OS2.0.201.0.VFSEUXM)
- Poco X7 Pro (OS2.0.201.0.VOJEUXM)
- Poco M6 (OS2.0.201.0.VNTEUXM)
All of the above firmware has been released with the status of Mi Pilot, that is, so far only participants in the beta testing program have received them, but distribution to all owners of these models will begin soon.

Key improvements and features of HyperOS 2.2
Improved system animation
HyperOS 2.2 optimizes system animations, resulting in a smoother visual experience. Known issues such as app screen flickering and inconsistent transitions have been fixed to support improved workflow and reliability.
Updated visual elements
The update implements desktop wallpaper blurring effects and improved icon text shadows, which provides greater clarity and a better user interface.

Availability and future deployment
Xiaomi will continue to expand access in the near future, targeting almost 100 devices that previously received HyperOS 2 updates based on Android 15. Wider distribution is expected in the near future.
