Not so long ago, the Poco F7 Pro smartphone, which is quite interesting in technical terms, appeared on the market (review), which became a global clone of the Chinese Redmi K80 model, and soon HyperOS 2.1 updates based on the latest Android 16 operating system will be released for these two devices.
As specified, test versions of HyperOS 2.1 firmware (numbering OS2.0.1 xx) based on Android 16 for Redmi K80 and Poco F7 Pro with numbers 2.0.250510 were seen on Xiaomi update servers.1.WOKCNXM.PRE and 2.0.250510.1.WOKMIXM.PRE accordingly.
Note that these HyperOS builds based on Android 16 will be the first major updates for these models, and in the fall they will receive HyperOS 3 based on the stable release of the same Android 16.
