How does Super Island work in HyperOS 3?
Notifications and key controls such as media player, timers, voice recording, voice calls on Xiaomi smartphones are now shown as a small “island” at the top of the display.
If you tap on a notification, it will be shown in a short but informative form, and if you swipe down, the corresponding application will be opened in a floating window.
As of August 29, 2025, Super Island supports over 70 different services.

What else will Super Island get in HyperOS 3?

- Improved drag and drop capabilities for displayed windows
In the future, Xiaomi intends to further expand the capabilities of Super Island in the HyperOS 3 system, planning to introduce additional applications and services. The goal is to make Super Island the main solution for Xiaomi users around the world.
